Fleet Tracking
Unique features that set it apart from the competition
Fleet Director now comes with a host of new features that really set it apart from the competition. Fleet Director has been designed to be intuitive from the beginning and has a class leading user experience.
Fleet Director technology gives you unprecedented flexibility and ease of use in an easy-to-understand interactive display. A user friendly and customizable screen display with easily recognisable icons makes Fleet Director easy to use and intuitive from the start. Enjoy unique Fleet Director flexibility for displaying multiple map views and data, customize window sizes and screen positions as you like - allowing dispatchers to view whatever information is most relevant at any given moment.

MultiView™ tiled mapping and Multiple Vehicle Playback
Fleet Director is the industry's only fleet management solution that lets dispatchers and managers view multiple interactive maps on the same screen, each map displayed in its own independently controlled window. For instance, users can display one map showing all vehicles, but use other tiled windows to stay zoomed in on several specific vehicles. This unique MultiView™ map tiling helps Fleet Director users make better operational decisions by getting the "big picture" while focusing on potential problems and emergent situations in greater detail. Users can set each tiled map view with its own zoom level and even map style.
Fleet Director also gives users new abilities to follow the progress of multiple vehicles in a tiled view. Similarly, users can replay the actions of multiple vehicles in a single view. This ability can help resolve disputes and complaints more efficiently. For instance if an enquiry is lodged for a driver and two drivers were in the area, managers can replay both drivers' routes at the same time in the same view to determine which was present at the place and time of the enquiry.

Real-time fleet analytics in dashboard displays
An industry first, Fleet Director distils wide-ranging operational data from the most recent 24 hours into a single dashboard-type display that users can grasp at a glance to improve decision making. Users can view this data 24/7 through any Web browser. The new analytics dashboard digests data from 16 reports and displays results in a high level, easy to understand summary. Fleet managers can view per-vehicle averages for fleet utilisation, miles driven, idle time and other key performance indicators.

Nearest may not mean quickest
The closest vehicle to your customer may not necessarily get there in the quickest time. Fleet Director can find the 'nearest vehicle' using real-time traffic information, real road speeds and a real ETA, which is far more accurate than the 'as the crow flies' method used by other fleet tracking companies.

Upgrade to include state-of-the-art satellite navigation with live traffic avoidance
Fleet Director can be integrated with Smartnav, our industry leading Satellite Navigation system, helping your drivers reach their destination avoiding traffic jams, saving time, fuel and unnecessary vehicle wear and tear. Smartnav, complete with stylish Colour Touchscreen, selects the most efficient route and guides drivers using automated verbal instructions, turn-by-turn visual pictograms and a 3D map so the journey ahead is clear. It even zooms in at every junction to show the detailed instructions of where to go. Plus, you also have the ability to send a route straight to any vehicle on your fleet, helping to navigate them directly from your PC.

The art of two-way driver communication
Fleet Director can be specified with two-way Messaging using our Colour Touchscreen. This enables clear and concise two-way real-time messaging between you and your drivers. Each message is time and location stamped to give another dimension in maximising fleet efficiency. Drivers can send and receive standard default ‘canned' messages, use fill-in forms and free-text messages for quick and easy communication. Drivers can use the messages to inform you about job arrivals, departures, availability and breaks, as well as start time and job completion. You can also send messages to your drivers such as extra job information e.g. part number for collection.

Emergency & Breakdown (E&B)
Address duty of care and the health and safety of your drivers - give them peace of mind that if they find themselves in a medical emergency, crime situation or breakdown, our team of Personal Assistants are always there at just the touch of the screen 24/7, 365 days of the year. For example, if a driver is working alone during a night shift, gets into mechanical difficulty and can't find their mobile phone, they can use the Colour Touchscreen to call a PA who can pinpoint their exact location using GPS technology. Fleet Director E&B can connect them to a breakdown service provider and can also connect them directly to the 999 Operator. It's added security and safety at the end of your employees' fingertips.
Need to contact your drivers instantly? No problem.
Every Fleet Director unit with a Touchscreen gives you the option to call your drivers whenever they are on the road. Each unit has its own phone number that you simply dial and you can speak to the driver, assured it's also hands-free for them.

Route Scheduling
New additional tool that calculates the most effective routes for multiple destinations in a given time period
No more guess-work to work-out the most efficient order of delivery destinations
Ensures that the drivers get as many drops completed
Destinations are then sent to the vehicle's Smartnav system in the most time efficient order
The driver simply selects the destination in the order provided
Route Scheduling allows the dispatcher to find the optimum order for a delivery schedule for a particular drive
The dispatcher enters the start and end time of the day, the amount of time spent at each delivery address, the start point of the journey, all destinations and an end point.
The Route Scheduler then calculates the route. If the destination cannot be reached in the given time scales, the dispatcher will be able to either extend the day or remove destinations

Scheduled Reporting, direct to you
When you need a regular report on your drivers you just set them up once, and you will receive them via email automatically, whether daily, weekly or monthly. From these detailed reports you will have access to information on virtually every aspect of your fleet's operation. You can monitor the time spent on the road and at customer sites, to improve customer service and resolve invoicing issues, as well as identify any unauthorised or excessive vehicle use. Reviewing driver performance in this way will help to improve individual employee productivity, reduce idle time, and at the same time address duty of care if, for example, drivers have been exceeding the speed limit. Viewing via a web browser the reporting also includes a suite of historical reports, so you can review past fleet and driver activity.
